Lydia Joy Long
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in
michigan & NORTH CAROLINA
Welcome to my page! I hope that the
information here allows you to get to know me a bit better than just reading my
resume.
I am a recent graduate of Lansing
Community College with an Associates Degree in Nursing. I have always wanted to
be a nurse. I believe it must be in my blood. My mom is a critical care nurse,
my grandmother was a nurse and my great grandmother was a nurse! From a very
early age I learned how critical a caring and competent nurse is to the overall
health care process.
I learned so much the last several years
about a wide variety of topics, everything from Pharmacology to Microbiology.
But the nursing dream seemed more of a reality when the clinical rotations
began. I loved assisting the nurses and caring for the patients. Please take a
moment to read letters of recommendation that my clinical instructors wrote:
Recommendation
letters from my clinical rotation instructors
Pediatric Clinical Care Rotation - Deborah A. Hager, BSN, RN
OB Clinical Rotation - Kathleen M. Patterson MSA, RNC
Advanced Acute Care Nursing - Elisabeth Parker, RN, BSN BA
Recommendation from my former employer
Carl Jones - Wildwood Ranch Program Director
Certificate for "Foundations of Dementia Care Training" by the Alzheimer's Association.
