WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING . . .
"We see more happen in a single weekend of a camp properly exalting our Lord than in an entire year of typical active Christian participation in different organizations and churches."
-Dr. Bill Bright, Founder
Campus Crusade for Christ

"The launching of a career, or the starting of a family, usually means that there won't be any more unencumbered opportunities to get involved with a valuable short-term summer situation that can mean so much in so many ways."
-John Ashmen
Christian Camp & Conference Association

Who We Are . . .
Wildwood Ranch is a part of the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries providing a camping experience for inner-city children and youth. We are looking for summer staff members that are excited about serving the Lord in a service ministry (at no time are we more like Jesus than when we are serving). If you feel as though this describes you, please take a moment to  Email us with some information about yourself: name, address, phone, college attending, marital status and how did you hear about us etc.

What We Do . . .
Wildwood Ranch is a Christian camp with the primary goal of sharing the joy of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ with inner-city youth and children. Our program aims to help our campers stretch and grow in all aspects of their lives; spiritual, physical, emotional, mental and social. We also try to make this process of growth involve plenty of good fun and adventure. Our resident camp programs include Bible studies, chapel, group games, ropes course elements, waterfront activities, a climbing wall, nature studies, horseback riding, sports, arts and crafts, good food and lots of personal involvement between campers and counselors. We also run day camps in the city of Detroit, and for the more adventurous we offer wilderness camps with canoeing, backpacking, repelling and rock climbing. Come share in the excitement with us!

What We Are Looking For . . .
We are looking for all kinds of people to help with our summer camping program, but the main "ability" that we are looking for is "availability". We desire to have young people that are available to God's call to minister. Most of our positions require no special skills that cannot be taught. We will be hiring counselors, lifeguards, program assistants, nature study director, adventure directors, arts & crafts instructor, maintenance workers, health officer, cooks, and the list goes on . . .

Our Goals For You . . .
A few of our goals for the summer staff are that you grow as a Christian, learn life skills that will aid you throughout your Christian walk, build new friendships that last a lifetime and have an enjoyable and uplifting experience.
