Wildwood Ranch Camps is a multi-faceted youth development organization that is owned and operated by the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries. Our primary goal is to expose the children and youth that we serve to opportunities and experiences that will enhance their lives, broaden their horizons and expand future opportunities. During the summer months we offer summer residential camps, adventure camps, day camps and equestrian camps. Our residential camp programs are designed to give inner-city children and youth opportunities and activities that they may not have access to in an urban setting. Wildwood serves over 1,200 young people each summer - mostly from economically disadvantaged homes. Over 90% of our residential campers come to camp through scholarships. Wildwood also offers an extensive Day Camp  program providing a exciting outdoor program for children from Livingston county.

Winter, Fall, and Spring are also exciting with activities such as Outdoor Education School for both private and public schools, youth, adult and family retreat and rental options, horseback riding lessons, a team building low ropes course and an exciting high ropes course! During the school year, our Youth Challenge Course brings 200 adolescent youth to our resident facilities on weekends and provides an eight week experience of high energy activities and character-building lessons.
