Wildwood Ranch
presents another year of  horsemanship opportunities! We use the Certified Horsemanship Association riding program which aims to teach students horse care and management, along with new riding skills. Class levels are decided by the students riding ability. Wildwood Ranch instructors specialize in dressage and introduction to jumping. Horsemanship lessons take place every Saturday beginning on May 1st and continuing through November.

We also offer residential horsemanship camps for those interested between the ages of ten through seventeen. Saddle up your horses for a week of horsemanship, riding and other summer fun at Wildwood Ranch Horse Camp. Daily ground and Western or English riding lessons are supervised and taught by CHA certified riding instructors. Trail riding is a fun extra! Add Christian friends and counselors, other camp activities, daily devotional times and worship - this may be the best week of the summer! Give your family and friends a taste of the week in a horse show on Friday afternoon.

Trails End Horse Pack Trip (Ages 13 - 15) - August 8-13, 2010
Sunday through Friday on a horse! Imagine spending the majority of your day every day of the week with just you, your horse and the open trail....and other great friends as well. That is the Trails End Horse Pack trip! We arrive at Kensington Metropark Equine Base Camp on Sunday afternoon and spend time on the horse trails of Kensington Metropark and Proud Lake Recreation Area every day. There is plenty of time for other camping activities also...bonfires, swimming, a horse drawn hayride and more. Parents, there is plenty of adult supervision and we take medical personnel with us. And, though it seems like the "open trail", we are literally only minutes from emergency services in case that need arises.

Special riding skills are necessary for this trip. Call the camp office to arrange an interview with the Head Wrangler.

Notice to Parents: If an emergency or occasion arises that necessitates a camper be removed from the trip, we will do one of the following:
1. In the case of an accident or injury of a serious  nature, emergency medical services will be called. We will contact the parent or guardian immediately.
2. In the case of an illness or a minor injury, we will contact the parent / guardian and either drive the camper back to camp or make provisions for them to comfortably and safely continue on the trip.
