Trip Itinerary

Trails End Horse Pack Trip (Ages 13 - 15) - July  30-August 3, 2012
Monday through Friday on a horse! Imagine spending the majority of your day every day of the week with just you, your horse and the open trail....and other great friends as well. That is the Trails End Horse Pack trip! We leave for the Kensington Metropark Equine Base Camp on Monday morning and spend time on the horse trails of Kensington Metropark and Proud Lake Recreation Area every day. There is plenty of time for other camping activities also...bonfires, swimming, a horse drawn hayride and more. Parents, there is plenty of adult supervision and we take medical personnel with us. And, though it seems like the "open trail", we are literally only minutes from emergency services in case that need arises.

Special riding skills are necessary for this trip. Call the camp office to arrange an interview with the Head Wrangler.

Notice to Parents: If an emergency or occasion arises that necessitates a camper be removed from the trip, we will do one of the following:
1. In the case of an accident or injury of a serious  nature, emergency medical services will be called. We will contact the parent or guardian immediately.
2. In the case of an illness or a minor injury, we will contact the parent / guardian and either drive the camper back to camp or make provisions for them to comfortably and safely continue on the trip.
